Project Manager

Background:

Technology Services is seeking a local qualified Project Manager to work 40 hours/week, full-time on-site at the airport. TS Project Managers plan, organize, and implement technical projects for the organization. This may include coordination of production releases and rollouts, delegation of tasks to the necessary employees and presenting on project progress and results.

Scope of Services:

Technology Services is seeking a qualified candidate who will utilize their knowledge and expertise to serve as a Project Manager. Roles and Responsibilities include:

• Managing projects across both the Infrastructure and the Software Application portfolios.
• Responsible for overall Technology project portfolio.
• Responsible for end-to-end project management.
• Development and maintenance of project schedule
• Develop project charters.
• Identify and document key business processes.
• Develop documentation deliverables.
• Coordination and chairing of project meetings/gate reviews
• Tracking/managing action items, issues, budgets and risks.
• Escalating issues, as necessary
• Managing multiple projects at the same time.
• Managing third party vendors.
• Assist with development of standard operating procedures (SOP).
• Weekly status reports to leadership.
• Ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
• Evaluate project performance.

Required Qualifications and Competencies

• Six (6) years of experience as a Project Manager.
• Four (4) years of experience managing complex technology projects that spread across multiple departments or stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage simultaneous projects.
• Proven ability to deliver a completed project on-time and on-budget.
• Proven knowledge of technology platforms, infrastructure and application development, primaraliy infra with networks,
• Proficient in a variety of Project Management methodologies.
• Proficient in using Project Management Tools.

Preferred Qualifications and Competencies

• Experience with project management in the public sector.
• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)

General Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
